If Lerner thought O'Neill was going to waste the Milner money on an overpriced McGeady and an ovepriced Robbie Keane then I'm not suprised he pulled the plug. (if that be the case)

The only criticism of Randolph is that he's let himself get cornered with such little time to install a new manager.

Rumours abound that the players are overjoyed at O'Neill leaving, which if true is interesting.

Jol or Klinsmann are my choices at the moment but both would want a war chest of money for transfers and time is tight.

I am recovering slightly from the shock, and Tim is right, we shouldn't write off the season. We still have a very, very good team even without Milner.

I also heard the rumours about some of the players being thrilled at MON's departure - but I can't believe it's the first team regulars. Maybe some of those who thought they were being shown the door. I read something about players not liking his training regime and I immediately thought of Reo-Coker.

What is this about Friedal? Surely he's happy at Villa.

Friedel has refuted any suggestion of his moving to Fulham and General Krulak says that neither Ashley Young or Brad Friedel will be moving clubs. Do you know where i can read up on this? I just want to see it with my own eyes just so i know A.Young & Friedel arent going.

Curtis Davies made it clear that he won't be at the leaving party, when interviewed on SSN earlier!

I saw Curtis on TV last night and he seemed a bit embarassed to be complaining about the manager who bought him. It was quite mild stuff though. He said he didn't feel he had been given a fair chance but wasn't he injured for most of last year?
And the team were doing well without him - would you replace an in-form player with some-one just recovering from a serious injury? Not sure I would.

Having said that, I rate him too. And I was surrised he didn't feature at all but I assumed he wasn't ready.
