The Supporters Club of the Year awards were handed out last night in the Holte suite after the Chairmans game in which the British Lions Clubs defeated the Overseas Lions Clubs 4-1 at Villa Park.

 John Villa Power of Waterford and Tramore Lions in Southern ireland was delighted to present James Milner with the Player of the Month award for April. James topped the monthly prize charts and went on to lift the famous Terrace Trophy which his name is engraved alongside such Villa greats as Dennis Mortimer and Paul McGrath to name just two.

The draw has been made for the Lions Club Chairman to make the presentation to James Milner before the Blackburn Rovers game on Sunday May 9th. The first name out of the hat was John Villa Power of Waterford and Tramore Lions club.
John now has the chance to nominate one of his members or to do the presentation himself. |
