Set up a Lions Club

Is their a Lions Club near you?

Before you consider starting up a Lions club, have you searched the Lions Club directory?

There may be a branch close to you and it is preferable that you join that club in the first instance as this will:

• help you meet fellow supporters in your area
• help grow that club
• allow you instant benefits already established by that club
• give you more support

If there isn't a club near you then we will be happy to help you get started.

Establishing a new Lions Club branch.

To establish a new branch of the Aston Villa Supporters Club network quickly and efficently we have set up an online process using our Lions Club directory!

If you think you have the drive and enthusiasm to run a branch we can usually set you up officially within 48hrs.

Simply follow these steps to complete the request to form a new branch:

• go to the Lions Club map or use the main directory
• select your main region
• choose your country
• once you are on the country listings simply click on the "Add your listing here" button at the top of the directory opposite the country,
• complete the online form
• we will recieve the request and be in touch with you if needed.
• your new branch will be listed once approved.

We can help you with all your enquiries, give support and advice on creating or maintaining a Lions Club branch.

Entry Level

All that is required for entry level Lions clubs is:

• Registration
• Telephone
• Valid E Mail address
• Chairperson Elected

Light Blue

To be recoginsed as a Light Blue supporters club the following criteria is required in addition to the entry level requirements:

• Bank Account
• Ticketing procedure implemented
• Membership base 25+

Claret

To be recoginsed as a Claret supporters club the following criteria is required in addition to the entry level & Light Blue:

• Membership base 50+
• Secretary & Treasurer
• Travel plan

Gold

To be recoginsed as a Gold supporters club the following criteria must be met in additional to criteria of entry level, Light Blue & Claret:

• Membership 100+
• Recognised Ticket or merchandise sales.

NB. The club monitors all transport, ticket sales and merchandise purchases from members in order to reward the Lions Clubs for their efforts in supporting Aston Villa Football Club
