The Johannesburg Villans are an off-shoot of the South African Villans who’s aim is to mobilize the support of Aston Villa in the greater Johannesburg area. The club has been going since 1992. Some of our achievements include hosting Aston Villa at our supporters club in May 1994 when the club visited our country and our continued support in presenting our Villa Player of the Year every year since 1992.We also have a very successful Sunday League team who have played together since our inception and continue to do so under the management of Dave Kinman. We meet at Marks Park Sports for all meetings and also use the same venue for all our home games in the Sunday league. Members from our club are regular travelers to Villa Park for Villa Park home games. Junior football team Robertsham Callies, coached by Reza Bodiat, are also closely linked with Villa.
